OUR SERVICES

The industries presently served by CERL include; marine composites, construction and structural composites, aerospace and avionics composites, wind and hydrokinetics composites, transportation composites (automotive, rail, and other ground transportation), polymer resins development, thermoplastic and thermoset resin manufacturers and processors, electronics packaging and semiconductors, and other consumer composites.

OUR STAFF

Andrew Schoenberg

Andy is the Director of the Composites Engineering Research Laboratory. He is a 35 year veteran of the semiconductor and plastic manufacturing industry and is considered to be one of the leading composite manufacturing experts in the northeast

Drew Sfirri

Drew is a C.E.R.L. engineering technician. He is CCT/VIP certified, experienced with IT/networking, lean manufacturing, and engineering problem solving. He is a graduate of Southern Maine Community College’s composite science and manufacturing program.

Nathan Sprague

Nate is a CERL engineering technician apprentice. He is currently a student at Southern Maine Community College working on a degree in Composite Science & Manufacturing. He is also a graduate of the Regional 10 technical school.
